Marks and Labels/StampsunmarkedProvenanceMade for Warren Trusdell, insurance executive in Newark (Mutual Benefit Life) in ca. 1868 for his house at 19 Washington Park. Donor was one of this three children, Grace; and retained the house after his death. House was demolished in ca. 1926 to make way for an office building (currently there, owned by Rutgers University, but vacant).Exhibition History"Century of Revivals: Nineteenth Century American Furniture in the Newark Museum," 1983.
