Moore, for John W (1831-1902) and Marie-Louise Hungerford (1843-1928) Mackay in 1877-1878. Tiffany & Co. displayed Mackay service at the 1878 Paris Exposition Universelle and then delivered it to the Mackay's rue de Tilsitt mansion in Paris. 12 of the original 24 cups and saucers were purchased by NJ collector Iris Schwartz (1921-2011) at the January 28, 30 & 31, 1994 Sotheby's auction, lot 557. The cups and saucers were then sold by Sotheby's at Sale N09606, January 20, 2017, lot 3074. S.J. Shrubsole purchased the lot at that auction.Exhibition HistoryTiffany & Co. display, Exposition Universelle, Paris, France, 1878Our online collection is a work in progress.
