InscriptionsThe wreath at the center is engraved with a pair of crossed pennants, which suggest this was used on a yacht. Research indicates that the pennant with the star on a diagonal bar is from the Eastern Yacht Club in Marblehead, MA; the other pennant, a shamrock on a white field, might be for the Yacht Shamrock, owned by J. Rogers Maxwell. Curator is investigating this with the yacht club.Marks and Labels/StampsStamped on bottom of (A): "TIFFANY & Co. / 14532 MAKERS 3384 / STERLING SILVER / 925-1000 / T"Provenancepurchased by donor from Marsh & Ackerman Antiques, Swansea, MA,Our online collection is a work in progress.
