Remarks
ASH 3/4/2024: Previously this object had been cataloged with a descriptive title of Rose Bowl. I changed it to Fern Pot, based on the 2023 Brian Gallagher/Mint Museum exhibition catalog Walter Scott Lenox and American Belleek and the Christie's catalog for a similar vase https://www.christies.com/en/lot/lot-4694225. Fern pots were popular objects in the 1890s as decorating with ferns and palms was popular at the time.
