Marks and Labels/StampsPrinted on underside of foot: "ROYAL DOULTON / ENGLAND", a lion-and-crown logo, "RN597783", "D3225", "6"ProvenanceBelonged to donors parents in Caldwell; we have some of the plates from this same service. (See label copy). Donor believes it was a wedding present to her parents in 1921 (they were married in Verona, NJ). Date letter suggests they bought it later on; Mrs. Bartle remembers it all through her childhood.
